Joint meeting with Beds & Cambs Wildlife Trust local group.
This site with wet, acidic woodland and grassland, is ecologically one of the most important in southeast England with a rich higher plant and bryophyte flora, many interesting fungi and a huge diversity of insects. Access and parking arrangements have changed since our last visit so details will be provided nearer the time, but to give an idea of location, access is likely to be at the end of a rough track off Maulden Road past Folly Farm (turning east opposite a small industrial estate), Grid ref: TL 045354.
